Yesterday, I went to the Mexico City International Airport twice. The first time was to drop off a group of people. The second time was to pick up our friends the Torberts from Tennessee. They were arriving from their 2 month time in the USA. It was good to see them again. We also learned that they finally finished the new international arrivals from North America wing at the airport. This will definitely cut down on a lot of people traffic in the future. Since the airport serves more than 24 million people each year, it is still usually busy, but the new construction is helping make it easier to travel into and out of Mexico City.

Although we’re in the US for the summer, we’ve still got video of Mexico for you. One of the worst things about living in Mexico City is the traffic. You cannot ask, “How long does it take to get from…?” because there is no answer to that question because of the traffic.
Mexico City is notorious for its air pollution. The government is trying to combat the problem by enforcing a “no circulation” day for most cars. Depending on what number your license plate ends in, you have to rest your car on a specific day. Luckily for us, newer cars are exempt from this. We are not exempt, however, from traffic.
